I want to take a minute to thank this team for stepping up. Thanks to your generosity last month, we were able to surpass our November goal! We are stronger than ever with you on the team.

As the end of the year approaches, there’s still a lot of work to do – and healthcare is at the top of my priority list.

We’re working to ensure that all Kansans have access to quality healthcare. We’ve fought against surprise medical billing, high prescription drug costs, and Republican efforts to dismantle the ACA.

Across the country, GOP leaders are blocking efforts to address healthcare costs. In Congress, the Republican-led Senate refuses to take up legislation my colleagues and I have passed to lower prescription drug prices and protect coverage for millions of Americans.

Meanwhile, right here in Kansas, a handful of Republican legislators are preventing our state from expanding Medicaid and providing coverage to nearly 3 million families.
