A few days ago, my team put their heads together + crunched the numbers to figure out how much money we need to raise before June 30 to keep this campaign on track to beat Dr. Oz in November.
The number they came up with is $730,000 in grassroots donations.
Look, I don’t mean to sound cheeky. The stakes are *too high* for that. But let me tell you what happens if we don’t hit that goal before midnight tonight, John.
When we report our fundraising numbers after the end of the quarter, Dr. Oz and + Republicans will see that our campaign isn’t keeping up. They’ll think we’re losing momentum. And they’ll believe they have a good chance of winning this seat – meaning they’ll start pouring even more millions into this race.
We can’t let that happen.
