Max King here, the future first dog of Maryland! I know that things have been heavy in the news this week, so I wanted to jump on and let you know about something lighter to hopefully brighten your day!

Today is a very special day for the King family – it’s my gotcha day! When John, Melissa, Mireya, and Amina first adopted me, this pup had never even heard of a campaign trail – and now 4 years later, I’m still trying to figure out when my dad is going to take me for a walk on said trail…

Today might be all about me, but since my dad has less than three weeks until Primary Election Day and just 3 days until his last public fundraising deadline, it's all paws on deck at the office.

Everyone is working really hard making calls to voters, organizing for this thing called “get out the vote,” and raising money to support our TV ads and supplies for organizers.
