As friends and families make plans to get together this weekend to celebrate Independence Day, I wanted to highlight the large number of fireworks shows that are happening across Connecticut in celebration of the birth of our nation.

Connecticut's tourism office has compiled a useful schedule of fireworks shows that are happening over the next several days in every corner of our state.
