Dear subscribers,

Blue Action Fund is pleased to announce that a new open Call for Proposals [[link removed]] has been launched on 29 June. This Call will focus on the ‘Wider Caribbean Sea’, covering the following countries: Belize, Colombia, Costa Rica, Cuba, Dominica, Dominican Republic, Grenada, Guatemala, Guyana, Haiti, Honduras, Jamaica, Mexico, Panama, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, St. Lucia, and Suriname.

Blue Action Fund seeks to support projects that result in newly established or better managed marine protected areas (MPAs) as well as enhanced livelihood conditions in coastal communities. 

With this Call, Blue Action Fund anticipates funding projects with a total volume of approximately EUR 20 million. If you would like to apply for this Call, please submit your Concept Note to us by 20 November 2022. For more information, please visit our website [[link removed]]. 

Please ensure that you carefully read Blue Action Fund’s Grant Procedures Manual [[link removed]]and the Environmental and Social Management System [[link removed]], which both provide detailed information on funding objectives and requirements.
