When a campaign ends, the institutional knowledge often gets lost.

Building a movement and cultivating leaders who will fight and organize for working class representatives at all levels of government takes a lot of best practices, learnings, and reflections. That’s why Movement School was created; instead of starting over from scratch every election cycle, up and coming leaders can study directly from the playbooks of the best and brightest.

Movement School collects all the best discoveries and fresh knowledge to train the next generation of activists who will run and work on insurgent primary campaigns.

Movement School is led by some of the best minds in politics, and prepares fellows to lead grassroots political and advocacy campaigns across the country. Their intensive 10 week program, all online, challenges fellows to explore and practice the best tools and strategies in the political sphere.

When we say we want diverse, working-class champions in our movement, we mean it: cohorts of accepted fellows will be at least 80% organizers of color, 80% from working class backgrounds, and 60% women. Anyone who lives in the United States or its territories, and is at least 18 years old at the time their cohort would start, is eligible to apply.
