Last week wasn’t easy. And things won’t get easier from here. 

As a survivor of sexual assault, a woman, and a mother, I’m heartbroken by the decision to overturn Roe. Today, abortion is now illegal for millions of American women–including victims of rape, incest, and human trafficking.

It’s devastating.

But I want you to know this: when things get tough, we get tougher. 

I’m prouder than ever of the millions of women across the country fighting back, and I’m prouder than ever to be leading Florida Senate Democrats in the battle to protect reproductive rights. 

This fight is real. And more than ever before, I need your help to prevent a total abortion ban in Florida.
