I wanted to reach out to you after this week's January 6th Committee hearing and its startling revelations.
As the committee continues to reveal its findings, one thing is certain. Donald Trump and his accomplices planned to steal the election and overthrow the legally elected government of the United States. Scott Perry is one of those accomplices. He played a key role in the attempted coup, and he must be held accountable.
Beyond accountability, Scott Perry must be stopped. Since January 6th, Scott Perry has become an even more important player in the radical, pro-Trump movement. As the Chair of the extremist, pro-Trump Freedom Caucus, Scott Perry is more dangerous than ever, and he is certainly one of the most dangerous members of Congress. |
During yesterday's hearing, Liz Cheney ended her closing remarks by saying, "our nation is preserved by those who abide by their oaths to our Constitution." |
When I became an American citizen, I took the same oath to uphold and defend the Constitution that Scott Perry took when he became a member of Congress. Scott Perry broke his oath. I'm keeping mine by running against him.
The June 30th fundraising deadline is tomorrow, and I'm asking for your help. In order to preserve our nation, Scott Perry must be defeated.
