Tomorrow is Give OUT Day and I want to take a moment to tell you about our Chapter volunteers who bring GLSEN's programs and vision to their communities.

The time and energy Chapter volunteers put into their work is astonishing.

Whether they’re supporting local administrators, teachers, and GSA’s; meeting state legislators to advocate for inclusive policies or fight discriminatory ones; creating awareness of GLSEN’s work, or comforting LGBTQ+ youth who feel isolated and alone—GLSEN Chapters are the backbone of our movement to ensure every LGBTQ+ student achieves their full academic potential.

There are over 40 GLSEN Chapters serving approximately 5 million K-12 students nationwide.
