In a moment, I’m going to ask that you make a $5 donation to the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee before the FEC deadline on Thursday. But before then, I hope you’ll give me a chance to explain why your support today is so critical.

Together, we’ve accomplished a lot. But we have a lot more work ahead of us, and building on our progress means we must protect and expand our Democratic majority in the House. The DCCC is crucial to that effort, and that’s why I’m reaching out today.

You know that I hate to ask, but will you donate $5 to the DCCC before its end-of-quarter deadline on Thursday? Whatever you’re able to give will help defend our Democratic House majority so we can truly build a better America in the months and years to come.

If we lose just a few seats in the House, everything we’ve fought so hard for could be in jeopardy. That’s why the DCCC is working around the clock to make sure Democratic House candidates have the resources they need to compete and win nationwide.

But to keep running these all-important programs, the DCCC must be fully funded. I hope you’ll chip in $5 to the DCCC before Thursday’s end-of-quarter deadline to help defend our Democratic House majority. Every penny will go toward supporting the programs that will lift Democrats to victory nationwide.

Thanks for being on this team. It means a whole heck of a lot.
