Can you believe the year's almost over? If our sources are right, we can expect a House-wide vote on impeachment in the next few weeks.

Yep -- the next few weeks. This is not a drill.

In a series of public hearings before Thanksgiving, Dr. Fiona Hill, Ambassadors Bill Taylor and Marie Yovanovitch, and other career diplomats made a damning case for impeachment. Just yesterday, the House Intelligence Committee summarized their findings in a searing report confirming that Trump committed impeachable offenses.

We know Trump did the crime and we know that in a few weeks every member of the House will have the opportunity to hold him accountable. That's why I'm so excited that Stand Up America and our progressive allies are planning nationwide rallies for the night before the vote to make as much noise as possible. Now, we need to take to the streets to let our lawmakers know that this lawless behavior isn't okay and that we aren't going to take it lying down. We need the House and the Senate to uphold the Constitution and protect our democracy.

Today, the House Judiciary Committee launched a multi-week process to hear from constitutional experts about what we already know: What Trump did wasn't just morally wrong, it was illegal.

Next, they'll draft articles of impeachment and send them up to the entire House of Representatives for a full vote before a potential Senate trial. All before the end of the year.
