John, like so many of you, I'm tired and angry.

I know the news of Roe v. Wade being overturned has been extremely difficult to digest. But here’s what I want to say to you today: The courts don't make the laws – the people do.

In the face of injustice, we have to get up, get organized, and go vote to secure our rights. And right now, it's critical we elect leaders who will do the right thing and protect reproductive rights.

That's why I joined a rally of amazing Pennsylvania leaders, including Attorney General Josh Shapiro along with Congresswomen Madeleine Dean and Mary Gay Scanlon this past weekend to remind voters what's at stake and how important their voices are.

As a mom, teacher, veteran, and Congresswoman, I vow to continue to lead the effort to pass legislation that protects abortion access.

SCOTUS’ heartbreaking, dangerous, and unprecedented decision will set us back nearly half a century, but we simply cannot back down until our rights are restored – women are counting on us. We will fight back at the ballot box and make sure we hold our Democratic House majority.

This is our best line of defense. We can win.

With so much at stake, John, will you rush a donation right now to help me continue the fight to protect our reproductive rights?
