Our campaign is facing a big hurdle this month: the legislative session fundraising freeze. From December 14th until Spring 2020, I can’t accept a single penny from our supporters. (That means if you send us a check, we’ll send it back!)
 
This fundraising freeze places us at a significant disadvantage in this race:
  • Our team is anticipating an attack from the Republican Attorneys General Association, which desperately wants to unseat me and other Democratic AGs leading the fight against President Trump.
     
  • My pro-NRA opponent isn’t an elected official, so he’s able to raise money while we’re prohibited from doing so.
     
  • I’m not accepting any money from corporate PACs, which means that I’m relying entirely on your individual support to boost our fundraising before this fundraising blackout period.
In order to avoid a significant influx of dark money into my race, we need to meet our goals in the next two weeks. Please chip in today to help us stay strong throughout the fundraising freeze.
