John,

When you take a look at who’s been funding Michelle Steel over the years, it starts to make sense why she continues to put corporate and radical special interests ahead of the people of Orange County.

❌ Anti-choice Groups: Last year, Steel joined extremists in asking SCOTUS to overturn Roe v. Wade. She apparently doesn’t support choice even in instances of rape. In return, she’s been showered with endorsements and checks from anti-choice groups.

❌ The Gun Lobby: Steel voted against a universal background checks bill despite it having support from 90% of the American people. Of course, her loyalty to the gun lobby and NRA came with endorsements and thousands in campaign contributions.

❌ Big Oil: Steel voted against a bill to stop price-gouging at the pump. After last year’s oil spill off Orange County’s coast, Steel tried to protect those responsible from paying for the cleanup! She’s been given $54,000 from oil and gas employees and PACs for all her help.

These three special interest groups have a vested stake in keeping Steel in Congress in 2022. And because Jay depends on individual donors to flip this seat, defeating them depends on your grassroots support:

With just 1 day until our FEC deadline, will you help us close our $22,831 fundraising gap before we close the books and our numbers go public? We cannot risk falling short – donate $3 today.
