The truth is not always politically convenient.
When I said that the Democrats should examine whether or not it's wise that a party that owes its national victories in large part to voters of color begin their primary process in two states whose diversity doesn't reflect the primary electorate as a whole - there was backlash.
But yesterday, Nate Silver joined a growing number of voices in agreement:

I intend to compete for every vote in Iowa and New Hampshire, and I appreciate the caucus-goers who dedicate themselves to the primary process.
Additionally, with the news of Senator Harris dropping out of the race, there are currently no candidates of color who have met the DNC's requirements to qualify for the next debate.
This process needs to be fixed.
I'm close to hitting the donor threshold to qualify for the December debate.
