Dear John,

Parents across the country are reaching out to PFLAG National almost daily. They are terrified of being investigated for supporting their trans and nonbinary children in seeking access to gender-affirming care. Their kids worry about whether they should join a school sports team in accordance with their gender identity. Some are even worried about simply talking about their or their loved ones’ identities in school. 

And with last week’s devastating Supreme Court decision overturning Roe v. Wade, families are terrified for the future of privacy, choice – even marriage equality. 

These are families that are considering moving to a different state just so they can feel safe. 

PFLAG National will always fight for our LGBTQ+ loved ones to live full, authentic lives — free from discrimination, harassment, and harm — but we can’t do it alone. We need you with us.
