Last week, GOP primary voters officially chose the most extreme option to run against former CIA counterterrorism officer Abigail Spanberger in VA-07.

There’s no easy way to say this: Abigail’s opponent not only supports abortion bans across the country, but when asked about any exceptions, she downplayed the possibility of pregnancy from rape.

These backward views are too extreme for Virginia. It’s more important than ever that we win this race and keep Abigail’s opponent out of Congress.
