Dear John,
Yesterday, you wrote directly to President Biden demanding immediate action following the Supreme Court’s decision overturning Roe v. Wade.
Today, the U.S Senate needs to hear from you. Write to your senators and urge them to do their part by: -
Ending the Hyde Amendment once and for all so that no one is denied abortion coverage just because they are working to make ends meet, and;
- Passing the LIFT the BAR Act so that immigrants are not denied health care, including abortion. Now more than ever, people who are undocumented and immigrants in mixed status families face even more barriers to health care, including abortion care, and are at greater risk of criminalization.
The same folks who are most harmed by these policies are most harmed by this Supreme Court decision.
We are calling for bold solutions that end any existing barriers to abortion care. Let senators know that it’s long past time for them to do the same.
