After last week's news, it's more important than ever that we have true reproductive rights champions in Congress. Carlina has been a leader on this issue her entire career . By creating the first ever municipal abortion fund -- which has been a model for other cities around the country -- and by introducing legislation requiring every city-run health care site to offer free FDA-approved abortion pills, including for out-of-state patients seeking care, she has proven that she is ready to expand abortion rights.

She also has a proven track record on fighting for climate justice, affordable housing, public transit, and more, and I know she'll bring the same energy and success to Washington.
