Minnesota’s Congressional map is finally capturing the attention of the national press.

Five out of our eight Congressional races will be competitive battleground districts next year. The NRCC has already been sliming and smearing our DFL congressional candidates with negative attack ads, and it’s only going to get worse.

We had to expand our Congressional organizing operation earlier than we expected this summer and we never quite made up the difference. As we approach the New Year, we need a fresh start.

It’s getting harder and harder to carry the shortfall. The pressure is building and we need to raise $3,000 by tomorrow night to square away our Congressional battleground budget. Will you pitch in $5 or more to help us get there?

The difference between holding onto our Democratic Majority in the House and losing it will come down to Minnesota, and Congress is our last line of defense against the Republicans’ attempts to repeal the Affordable Care Act and gut protections for preexisting conditions.

We will never back down. Our work in these critical districts is too important. But with Trump doing everything he can to flip us red next year, we don’t have any room in the budget to spare.
