John, as you may know, yesterday was the 2022 Utah Primary Election!
Months of supporting our endorsed primary candidates culminated yesterday at our Election Day Call-A-Thon. Our team was joined by volunteers, candidates and campaign teams in our office where we hit the phones in efforts to get voters to the polls in time. Our Call-A-Thon squad made over a thousand GOTV calls and then waited in anticipation as results came through.
Thank you to everyone who volunteered, donated and followed along with us these last few months. We are incredibly proud and excited by these results, and none of it would have been possible without your support. While there are still some votes to be counted, we feel it's important to recognize these victories! We look forward to working with these individuals leading up to the General Election as they continue to prioritize clean air:
We're keeping our fingers crossed as more votes are counted for these two close races. We will be sure to keep you updated:
We would also like to highlight some other candidates who we were pleased to see win. Our state's air quality stands a better chance with them in office rather than their opponent.
- Evan Vickers, Senate District 28
- Jerry Stevenson, Senate District 21
- Keith Grover, Senate District 23
We'd like to give shout out to our candidates who unfortunately did not make it through. We hope to work with them again in the future toward a healthier environment:
- Raelene Blocker, House District 11
- Kelly Miles, House District 4
Thank you again for your ongoing support this year leading up to the primary. In the coming months, we will continue to roll out additional endorsements and offer ongoing support to those we have already endorsed.
State and local elections are where you can have the greatest impact on important issues. There are so many ways to get involved with our team in the coming months as we gear up for the General Election.
Thank you,
o2 Utah
