A lot of the issues Haley’s working on in Congress aren’t the ones making big headlines -- issues like helping small businesses, combating the spread of fake news, protecting consumers, and developing our recycling infrastructure.
Issues like these may not be flashy or bring in big donations, but they are critically important. That’s why we need your help to meet our end-of-quarter goal this month >>
More than 8 million tons of plastic end up in our oceans every year, polluting our environment and contributing to global warming. And while plastic use continues to skyrocket, the United States’ recycling infrastructure isn’t equipped to keep up.
As Chair of the Research & Technology Subcommittee, Haley convened the first Science Committee hearing about recycling in a decade. And she unanimously passed an amendment to develop a national recycling strategy.
This campaign is about more than holding our Democratic majority -- Haley Stevens brings a unique voice and perspective to Congress that we can’t afford to lose!
But November was one of our worst months for online fundraising, and we have an important FEC end-of-quarter deadline this month. Will you chip in to keep Haley in Congress working on the important issues that get overlooked?
Thanks for helping out!
