I just got off the phone with our finance director, and I’m writing to let you know that we need to raise another $8,075 by tomorrow at midnight to hit our most important fundraising goal ever. If we fall short, we’ll risk reaching fewer voters ahead of the September primary.
I’m proud of the strong coalition Governor McKee has built – from Speaker Shekarchi, Senate President Ruggerio, and mayors across the state to organized labor and the Rhode Island Democratic Party. The Governor has earned support from these folks because, to put it simply, actions speak louder than words.
Because of the Governor’s leadership through the pandemic and beyond, Rhode Island is leading the nation in economic recovery and we have a once in a generation opportunity to create a brighter future for every single person and family in our state.
