Team, it’s official: Joe O’Dea is my Republican opponent in the general election.

Here’s what you need to know about Joe O’Dea:

He was endorsed by the Colorado NRA and opposes new gun safety legislation that would keep Coloradans safe,
He came out against Colorado’s law guaranteeing the right to choose,
And he suggested cutting funding for critical safety nets like Social Security and Medicare.
There’s a saying: when someone shows you who they are, believe them the first time.

Team, we know who Joe O’Dea is. He’s given his own campaign seven-figures so he could buy his way onto the ballot, then he dumped more cash into attack ads to try and win this seat. He’s out of step with Coloradans, and he’ll be a rubber stamp for Rick Scott — who wants to raise taxes for low-income folks and seniors — and Mitch McConnell.

Team, please split a $10 donation between my campaign and Martin Heinrich’s to help defend my seat and continue defending our fundamental freedoms.

When it comes to the issues Coloradans care about — like creating jobs, lowering costs, protecting our communities from climate change, and investing in working families — my record stands tall.

But my seat is listed among the 10 most likely Senate seats to flip, and National Republicans have already laid out a roadmap to defeat me. The RNC has already dropped organizers and operatives in Colorado, and Mitch McConnell and the National GOP have already raised over $200 million to target races like mine.

Now that O’Dea is the official Republican nominee, their efforts will only ramp up. So I’m asking:

Will you split a $10 donation between my campaign and Martin Heinrich’s to keep Colorado blue and hold onto our slim Senate majority?
