Dear John --

If you could go back and relive high school all over again, would you?
Adolescence is probably one of the few things that hasn't improved with time. It's awkward and intense. It's a time of self-discovery that can be both exhilarating and terrifying. And for those first discovering their sexuality and/or gender identity, the experience is riddled with obstacles ranging from higher rates of bullying to peer and family rejection to depression and so much more.

This is why the It Gets Better Project exists.

Hope is in high demand. It's the fuel that keeps us moving forward in difficult times, and it is the main ingredient in our movement to empower LGBTQ+ young people everywhere.

As the world's largest storytelling effort to empower LGBTQ+ young people, we are determined to show them life gets better, and there are strategies available to help them navigate difficult times. Celebrities, influencers, major corporations, and people like you and me have all joined in this quest for hope. It takes a village, and together, we've built a glorious one - now it's time for that village to take action once again.

The It Gets Better Project's annual Give Hope Challenge raises the critical funds needed to build momentum for our work in the upcoming year. Over the last three years, the campaign has generated more than $400,000 in support of our mission to uplift, empower, and connect LGBTQ+ youth around the globe.
John -- this year, give the gift of hope to LGBTQ+ youth. Commit to becoming part of a global community that is proud and resolute in its efforts to create a brighter, more inclusive world for all people.

Help us keep hope alive in 2020 by investing in our mission today. Together, we can instill in younger generations the confidence they need to fulfill their greatest potential!
