I wanted to share some news with you: Last night, Democrats entrusted me to be the nominee for Colorado’s 6th district in Congress. I am honored to be your nominee, and it’s clear we have a lot of work to do.

Republicans and the Supreme Court are hell-bent on turning the clock back on our progress — everything from overturning Roe v. Wade to allowing even more guns on our streets. And it’s clear they’re not done.

I refuse to sit back and watch this happen without a fight.

In 2018, folks said I couldn’t defeat our NRA-funded GOP opponent and become the first Democrat to represent our district in Congress. We proved them wrong.

Just weeks ago, many said we couldn’t pass legislation to protect our communities from gun violence. We proved them wrong — passing the first gun safety reform bill in almost 30 years into law on Friday.

Now, we have an even bigger challenge ahead of us: Defending our 4-seat majority in the House. It’s time we proved them wrong once again.
