Congratulations to Senator Darren Bailey on his well-earned victory in the Illinois Republican Primary last night. I urge you and all Republicans to vote for Senator Bailey in the general election this November against JB Pritzker.

Thank you?to everyone that supported us during this campaign. Words cannot convey our gratitude for the trust that you placed in us. We would particularly like to thank our spouses and families who endured the crucible of a campaign and kept us grounded during the highs and motivated during the lows.

We also need to acknowledge our county and township directors who donated tremendous amounts of time and treasure without receiving any monetary compensation whatsoever. We are proud to call you our friends.

I also need to thank Carolyn Schofield for agreeing to go on this journey with me. Partnering with Carolyn was the best decision I made during this campaign. She is a tremendous leader and I look forward to helping with whatever future endeavors she pursues.

In closing, we can only control our actions--we can't control outcomes. We ran the best campaign possible with the resources we had, facing some challenging circumstances. It was our honor and privilege to work hard for you and spread our message of "commonsense conservative leadership we can trust."

Please continue to fight hard and smart for the future of our state and country.
