Hi John xxxxxx — Xavier here, Melanie’s campaign finance director. This has been a super busy month for us, and we’re all looking forward to making Melanie the winner of the August 23 primary for New York’s 3rd congressional district.

But we’ve gotta get through the end of the quarter first.

June 30 is our end-of-quarter FEC fundraising deadline. We’re doing pretty good this month, but we’re still having a hard time turning Melanie’s grassroots support into the resources we need to expand our movement.

The end of June is a make-or-break moment for us, as it’s the last FEC filing deadline before the primary. Being real here: we need more cash to keep our voter outreach program running full-steam until the August primary.

Whether it’s buying lawn signs so that our supporters can promote our message, investing in ads, or holding events, it takes a lot of money to run this campaign.
