[1]Cheri Beasley for North Carolina
Hey there - it’s Travis, Cheri’s campaign manager.
I know we’ve sent y’all a ton of messages this week in the lead up to tomorrow night’s FEC fundraising deadline. So, before I ask for your contribution, I wanted to take a second to explain exactly why these deadlines are so important to the success of our campaign.
After these official deadlines, the Federal Election Commission (FEC for short) requires candidates for federal office to file a report that outlines how much money they’ve raised and from whom.
Every candidate, from the House of Representatives all the way to President, is required to file one of these reports publicly. And once we close the books after midnight tomorrow night, we will do just that.
These reports are a big deal — the media looks at them and writes stories about our campaign, and our opponents will certainly be scouring our reports for any signs of weakness or vulnerability. They’re desperate to find some evidence that Democrats aren’t fired up or don’t believe this team can elect Cheri to be North Carolina’s next senator.
This is our first FEC deadline since Cheri became our nominee and Republican super PACs started attacking her on the air, and that means everyone is going to be looking extra closely at our report. With so many eyes on our campaign, we can’t afford to fall short now.
So please:
Make a contribution to Cheri Beasley’s campaign for U.S. Senate in North Carolina. Our FEC deadline is tomorrow at midnight and we’re counting on your help to put up a BIG number of donations and prove to everyone watching that we're fired up and ready to flip this seat.

Any donation you can afford means a lot to Cheri, to me, and to our whole team. Because, it’s not just about how much money we raise, it’s about how many people are supporting our campaign.
Thank you,
Travis Brimm
Campaign Manager
