Folks, we officially got word that Keith Pekau will be Sean’s GOP opponent in November.
We expected to be up against a typically anti-choice, anti-science, anti-democracy right-wing Republican, and Pekau hits the trifecta.
If the far-right gains traction in IL-06, our House majority will be in danger. They’ll bulldoze our hard-won progress and rewrite the rules so we can’t fight back. So, I’m asking: will you contribute $25 and become a Founding Donor of Sean’s general election campaign?
Sean knows what it takes to win against the GOP – in 2018, he flipped IL-06 blue for the first time in nearly 50 years. He’s not intimidated by the right-wing media’s bullying tactics. If Pekau was hoping for an easy victory, he’s out of luck.
It’s no exaggeration to say this year’s midterm elections will have implications for decades to come. Our most basic freedoms are on the ballot.
