Friends, Hi — I’m James, and I’m Jeff’s Campaign Manager. The quarter ends tomorrow at midnight. I’m not telling you we’re in a desperate situation and we need you to bail us out. I’m telling you that we want to knock our fundraising clear out of the park and put our opponent’s dark money allies on notice that when they come for us, we’ll be ready. We can send that message now. When this quarter ends. I want them to see how much broader our support is, because it’s not going to be remotely close. Our opponent doesn’t live in the district. He’s held zero public events. He’s basically invisible. And his dark money allies love that about him. That makes him a dream candidate as far as they’re concerned. We’re the opposite. Jeff’s knocking 1,000 doors personally this summer. He’s using social media to actually engage with people, not just advertise. He’s even inviting all of Charlotte to get a beer with him next weekend (more to come on that). So this deadline is important because we’re in a strong position and we need your help to show that to everyone who is paying attention to this race. Sending that message is not expensive.
