Thank you, thank you, thank you, to all of you out there who worked so hard for this victory, who supported our effort. Thank you for the trust and faith you've put in me.
It brings me great joy to share with you that we won yesterday's primary – and it couldn't have happened without you.
This victory was a team effort. It is the result of countless hours spent by our team and all our volunteers who showed up, made calls, knocked on doors, and spent their days helping our campaign.
We wouldn't have made it without support from folks like you. I am so grateful for your kindness, generosity, and dedication, without which we would not be here, celebrating this victory.
The job isn't over. New Yorkers are hurting across the board – struggling to make ends meet; struggling to pay for groceries and gas; struggling to live in safe neighborhoods free of crime and gun violence; struggling to afford housing and healthcare; struggling to see how education is still the gateway to opportunity.
As we head to the general election, I'll be relying on your continued support as Governor Hochul and I work with your support to win this race for working families in November.
Thanks again for being part of this. Now, let's keep our momentum going and continue to fight for a better future with love in our hearts.
