Her personal background and professional experience have laid a strong foundation for her to understand your priorities and be well-positioned to create effective solutions and policies for the problems facing North Carolina and America today. Christine then worked hard to earn her Master’s in Public Policy while taking care of premature twins.

Coming from generations of native North Carolinians, she has always wanted to play a role in making her home state a place for people to live, work, and retire. With a background in nursing, her care for the community along with interest and desire to help others led her to pursue a B.S. in Nursing and a career in providing compassionate and quality health care to patients in and out of North Carolina, including emergency and trauma medicine.

After graduating, she joined the world of national defense and earned a Master's degree in engineering from Johns Hopkins University while working full-time. After spending over a decade in the defense and intelligence communities, she voluntarily resigned to run for Congress.

As Congresswoman, she will prioritize introducing common-sense solutions and work across the aisle for her district over engaging in partisan politics. She will advocate for common-sense policies that fight crime, reduce inflation, ease transportation and improve our educational standards.
Yesli Vega, VA-07 ([link removed])
Yesli Vega, a military wife, mother, and law enforcement officer, is the embodiment of the American Dream. Born in Houston, Texas to Salvadoran immigrants fleeing civil war, her family has taken full advantage of the freedom and opportunities made available only in America.

While on the Board of Supervisors, Yesli has Fought and ultimately defeated gun control resolutions aimed at law-abiding Virginians, advocated for and introduced significantly reduced property tax rates, fought eminent domain abuse threatening to wipe out the homes of low-income residents, and much more. Yesli looks forward to fulfilling Congress’s responsibility of being a check and balance on the woefully inept Biden administration. She will be a strong advocate for the timeless American ideals of freedom, limited government, and restoration of the rule of law.
