Friend,
On Monday, the Supreme Court affirmed the right of all Americans to pray publicly without fear of persecution.
As you know, I am a man of faith and thus I am a man of prayer. The religious liberties we enjoy in this country and often take for granted, are fundamental to our identity as a nation.
The Founders declared that the rights we have are from God alone. And because our rights come from God, they cannot be taken away by any person, institution, or court.

However, in cases such as this one, we are reminded just how delicate those rights can be when they are challenged by those who seek to impede the rights of others because they make them uncomfortable.
I am a man of faith, but I am also an American who believes that the beauty of the American Dream is made possible by the structure set by the Constitution.
Do you agree, Friend?
The Constitution won today.
Freedom won today.
The American Dream won today.
As a former high school football player myself, I am glad to see that now Coach Kennedy and his team can get back to doing what I am sure they love.
Playing football together, winning games, and celebrating their freedom however they see fit.
If you will join me, say a prayer for America today and thank God for our rights, and ask Him to continue to unite our nation with His love.
God Bless,
Tim Scott
