Full Fact has been campaigning for this for months. MPs heard us.
Currently, there is no way for most MPs to correct the official record when they make a mistake in the House of Commons. When our politicians don’t correct their mistakes, everybody loses. The public’s trust is undermined and bad information can spread further, with consequences that affect all of us.

The inquiry is an important milestone but there’s a long way to go in the fight for a more honest, accountable Parliament.
