Hi John, I’ll keep this brief. You’ve heard a little more than usual from my team over the past few days, and I want to explain why.

The truth is, we have a big fundraising deadline coming up tomorrow, and it’s the most important deadline we’ve had so far. When we turn in our quarterly fundraising report to the Federal Election Committee, it will give my opponent the chance to look for signs of weakness in the grassroots movement we’ve built.

So far we’ve raised $2,300 of our $8,000 goal, and we only have two more days to make up the difference. Can you chip in today to help us close the gap?

This is about more than just hitting goals. When I say the stakes have never been higher, I mean it. Washington Republicans are plotting a way to pass a national abortion ban if they gain control of Congress, and you can bet my radical opponent would be one more vote to help them do it. We can’t let that happen.
