Earlier this week, a poll was released that shows Republican Allan Fung leading the race for Rhode Island's 2nd District and shows that Seth is the strongest Democrat to beat Fung. In fact, Seth is the only Democrat who holds Fung to a single digit head. We can't afford to let Fung win – and here's why:

If elected to Congress, we know Fung's first vote would be to hand over power to Republicans like Kevin McCarthy, who want a nationwide ban on abortion. That's why the NRCC named him to the highest tier of their "Young Guns" program. McCarthy is ready to supply Fung with the tools he needs to flip this seat red because he knows Fung will vote in lockstep with extreme Republicans.

And it's not just McCarthy who is standing with Fung. Allan Fung recently touted the endorsement of Rep. Elise Stefanik, a member of House GOP leadership. Fung is proud to be supported by someone who spreads the racist "great replacement" conspiracy theory, supports the "Big Lie," and even recently endorsed another congressional candidate who praised Adolf Hitler.

Republicans only need to flip four seats to retake the House majority, and the results of this new poll mean we can expect them to double down on their efforts to defeat Seth. With McCarthy, Stefanik, and Washington Republicans going all-in for Fung, we need your help to be prepared to fight back.
