Without Roy’s veto power, this is where we’d be:

Roy Cooper for North Carolina

John —

Before we broke the GOP’s legislative supermajorities in 2018, Republicans had a few years of free reign over our state.

Since then, Roy has vetoed bills that would restrict the right to abortion access, make it harder to protect our environment, and limit access to the ballot box. These measures are simply wrong for North Carolina, and thanks to Roy’s veto power, radical Republicans haven't been able to implement them.

Now that Roe v. Wade has fallen, Roy is the last line of defense for reproductive rights in North Carolina.

North Carolina Democrats MUST unite around protecting Roy’s veto power and the fundamental right to reproductive care. That means electing strong, pro-choice Democratic legislators who block GOP supermajorities in Raleigh. Roy is hard at work supporting down-ballot Democrats ahead of the midterms — chip in $5 before our June deadline on Thursday to help >>>

Right now, Republicans would need to pick up just THREE state House seats and TWO state Senate seats to secure enough votes to push through their ultra-radical agenda without anyone standing in their way.

If they gain that power, we can count on Republican legislators to enact extreme legislation targeting reproductive rights, voting rights, our environment, and more — after all, they’ve passed such laws before. Across the country, GOP-controlled states are passing and enacting extreme, cruel bans on abortion access. We can bet North Carolina Republicans would do the same if they could.

Roy’s veto power is the key to defending our rights and preventing Republicans from taking us backward. Chip in $5 whatever you can before our end-of-month fundraising deadline to help Roy BLOCK a GOP supermajority and elect Democrats up and down the ballot!
