Val Demings is the daughter of a janitor and maid who worked tirelessly to make sure that Val could be the first in her family to go to college.

Not only did Val go to college, she went on to become Orlando's first Black female chief of police and later won a seat in Congress. Senator Marco Rubio doesn't want to talk about his own record. That's why Washington Republicans and their corporate special interest allies are lining up to attack Val -- a former police chief and current congresswoman with a sterling record of fighting for justice.

Senator Rubio voted to defend The Former Guy against impeachment. He voted against COVID relief. When Floridians needed help paying their rent, feeding their families, or keeping their small businesses open, Marco Rubio voted against the American Rescue Plan. He even continued to join anti-vaccine pundits on TV as COVID cases surged in Florida.

Meanwhile, Val Demings cast her vote in the House of Representatives to make sure that struggling Floridians would get the relief they needed. If we give her the chance, she'll be a senator that Florida's working families can count on to fight for them in Washington.
