Hey John, got a moment for a quick update? It’s a really busy
time of year for candidates — and I’m sure it is for you too — but
thankfully, I was able to carve out a few minutes of my schedule today to
write this email.

We’re nearing the tail end of the last week of the FEC quarter, where
federal campaigns must publicly report their fundraising efforts. At the
beginning of each quarter, I talk with my team and set a goal on the
number we need to raise in order to fend off GOP attacks, protect our
House Majority and expand it.

It may not be the most dramatic or sensational part of politics, but it
definitely is one of the most important. Making sure we have the resources
needed to reach out to voters, cut through the Republican misinformation
campaigns, and get our campaign’s core message out through the grassroots
is so critical to our success.

Without the proper tools, winning battleground elections and defending our
majority becomes an extremely tough uphill battle — especially considering
the millions that dark money Super PACs are spending to elect right-wing
candidates across the country.

As I said, this isn’t something you’d see plastered over the news
headlines, which is why I’m personally reaching out now.
