Right now she’s running in one of the most expensive and competitive races in the country – one that may very well decide if we can protect and expand our control of the Senate. As a former chief of police, Congresswoman Demings doesn’t mess around when it comes to protecting and serving Americans. And, for the last three and a half years in the House, I’ve had the privilege of seeing her in action as she has fought tirelessly for justice and equality.

But perhaps the most remarkable thing I've witnessed Val Demings do is serve as an impeachment manager with me in Donald Trump’s first trial. Working side by side with her, I witnessed firsthand as she transformed into Chief Demings – an officer who had zero tolerance for misinformation and would fight for justice all the way until the end.
