Two years ago today, Donald Trump issued his third version of an executive order to ban travel to and from several majority-Muslim countries.

Thousands were immediately trapped or banned from coming to our nation. Immigrants who fought alongside our troops in the Middle East, students seeking a great education and sick people who needed access to our medical care were suddenly condemned.

All because Trump needed to make the white supremacists in his cabinet happy. Little did we know this was just the tip of the iceberg of Trump's vision for hate and ignorance in America.

Make no mistake, Donald Trump's policy is informed by racist, xenophobic ideology. His speechwriter and senior advisor, Stephen Miller, was exposed as a white supremacist just last month.
