Nearly four years ago, grassroots supporters helped me become our country's first Democratic Hispanic woman to serve as Governor, and I've delivered on my progressive promises ever since.

From taking bold action on climate change to safeguarding abortion, I'm building a brighter future for New Mexico – but now, the GOP is trying to replace me and erase all of our progress.

To defend myself from the GOP, I need to raise $150,000 before my critical reporting deadline on Saturday: Please, will you give $5 right now to support my reelection campaign and keep New Mexico blue?

I'm a 12th-generation New Mexican, and I've dedicated my life to building a brighter future for our state, first as the the Secretary of the Aging and Long-Term Services Department, then as a U.S. Congresswoman, and now as Governor. 

My Republican challenger, on the other hand, is an inexperienced extremist who is running on hate and division – just like Donald Trump. He's even waffled on the existence of climate change, called reproductive choice a "barbaric" practice, and has said he will try to ban abortion.

That's why it's so critical that I reach my $150,000 goal before my reporting deadline on Saturday. If I miss this goal, I'll have to make drastic budget cuts – which just isn't an option when the GOP is pushing harder than ever to bring MAGA values to New Mexico.
