My name is Sanford Bishop and I am running for re-election to represent Georgia’s 2nd Congressional District in the U.S. House. Due to Republican gerrymandering, dark money, and voter suppression, we’re in the midst of a very difficult swing race that could determine control of Congress.

Can you split $25 between my campaign and the Democratic Party of Georgia ahead of our End of Quarter deadline so we can defend the U.S. House and fight for Democratic progress?

If we fail to keep Georgia and the U.S. House blue, I fear what that means for our communities, state, country, and even our democracy. Republicans are packing courts with far-right radicals. They are conspiring to overturn election results. They are spreading lies and misinformation.

We know when Republicans win, infrastructure falters, rural communities suffer, and families struggle. To put it simply, when Republicans are in control, they focus on consolidating power and giving out favors to their mega donors rather than finding and passing solutions to help Americans.

John, that’s why we have to keep showing up, so that our friends, families, and communities aren’t left behind to suffer.
