Together, we will end Alzheimer's and other forms of dementia. June is Alzheimer's & Brain Awareness Month, and we are exploring the recent milestones in Alzheimer’s research and treatment.
Right now, about 5.6 million Americans have Alzheimer's Disease, while the CDC predicts that by 2060, that number could rise to an estimated 14 million people, with minority populations being affected the most.
Alzheimer's forces millions to spend their final days detached from the world and isolated from their loved ones. Thanks to the tireless efforts of researchers across the country, at hospitals, universities, and other facilities, hope is on the horizon.

As the size of the U.S. population age 65 and older continues to grow, so too will the number and proportion of Americans with Alzheimer’s. To end this devastating disease once and for all will take a powerful combination of research, thoughtful compassionate care teams, vigilance, and community knowledge. Progress is being made every day, and an end is in sight.
Together towards progress,
The Coalition to Protect America’s Health Care
