There’s no question about it, friend. The January 6th hearings have been explosive. The most dramatic Congressional hearing in modern American political history since Watergate. Full stop.
But before Cassidy Hutchinson’s testimony, we still had big questions about who knew what and when. While it had become difficult to believe Trump didn’t know the insurrectionists came to Washington, DC specifically to overturn the 2020 election, there was still room for plausible deniability.
The testimony we heard today changed all that. We now know that Trump and his inner circle knew that the mob was armed and had violent and anti-democratic intentions. But not only that, the Trump administration aided them. They incited them. And when they reached the Capitol steps, they applauded them.

If it wasn’t for Cassidy Hutchinson and the handful of like-minded compatriots who ultimately stood up to Trump and The 147 to defend our democracy, we may never have known the extent to which Trump was responsible for the January 6th Insurrection. We must stand with the January 6th Select Committee – and hold accountable all of those responsible – to make sure the peaceful transition of power is never threatened again.
