Janet is a friend, and she’s a fighter for the people of Maine. She is a leader who brings people together and works to find common ground to better the lives of all Maine people. One great example of this can be seen all through this month. June is Pride Month, and Janet Mills is a staunch ally of the LGBTQ+ community.


In Maine, Janet has helped pass key legislation to support our LGBTQ+ community including:

- Banning the harmful practice of conversion therapy
- Expanding access to HIV prevention medication
- Restoring veterans' benefits to persons discharged due solely to their sexual orientation or gender identity
- Nixing an outdated law requiring name changes be published in newspapers
- Simplifying changing gender on a birth certification & added an “X” gender marker

From LGBTQ+ issues to so much more, Janet has been the leader that Maine needs to keep us moving forward.

Janet is the right person to continue to lead Maine. That’s why I’m asking you to chip in $10 to support her in this toss up election.
