John, we have an accountability problem in Washington.

As a newly-elected representative, I went to Congress to help fix what’s broken and restore trust that our elected officials serve the public interest -- not special interests. My Democratic House colleagues and I have been focused on restoring that trust.

But, dark money groups have put a target on us to the tune of $7 million in a negative television ads and digital attacks.

This is the kind of attack that only dark money can afford. They are running negative ads from coast-to-coast in an effort to buy back Congress and stop House Democrats from returning power to the people.

So we’re banding together and creating a movement of our own that’s strong enough to go head-to-head against their negative ads.
