The stakes in this race are higher than they’ve ever been. Just a few days ago, the Supreme Court’s radical, right-wing majority overturned abortion rights, stripping millions of women nationwide of decades-long constitutional protections.
I’m very lucky to live in Colorado where women — no matter where they’re from — can find a safe haven to access care and make these deeply private medical decisions.
But no matter who wins the GOP primary tonight, Michael will be up against an opponent who wants to restrict the right to choose, including for women right here in Colorado.
Right now, our best shot at protecting the right to choose is by electing pro-choice leaders like Michael. Taking brave positions like that means that Michael is a top target for National Republicans — and they’ve already dropped organizers and operatives in Colorado to flip his seat.
