Presenters include:
Nzinga Harrison, MD is
chief medical officer and co-founder of Eleanor Health, a tech-enabled
healthcare company specializing in compassionate, evidence-based,
whole-person care of individuals with opioid and other substance use
disorders. Prior to co-founding Eleanor Health, Nzinga spent 11 years
serving as chief medical officer for Anka Behavioral Health Inc., a
non-profit behavioral health system, for which she led medical staff and
quality management for over 70 outpatient and residential mental health
and addictive disease programs.
Christine Petrin is
a student at Tulane University School of Medicine. Before coming to
medical school she spent three years as a research assistant with the
STOP Obesity Alliance, researching health policy issues related to
provider reimbursement, value based care, and health care quality. She
earned her MPH from the Milken Institute School of Public Health at
George Washington University and her bachelor’s degree from Barnard
College.
Don Mathis is
a case manager for the Harford County (MD) Office of Drug Control
Policy. He has worked and volunteered in an extensive number of
organizations to build a healthier, safer, saner, more prosperous nation
and world for our children and grandchildren. He previously served as
the director of alumni relations for Father Martin's Ashley, a
nonprofit, nondenominational drug dependency and alcoholism treatment
center in Maryland. His previous stints include the federal Corporation
for National & Community Service, Boys & Girls Clubs in
Maryland, Pennsylvania Governor's Office, and a national
community action organization. He serves on the boards of University of
Maryland Upper Chesapeake Health, Emerald Cities Collaborative, and the
Susquehanna Workforce Network.
